Streamkeepers Certification Course
The Streamkeeper Certification training course is an excellent introduction to fish habitat and stream restoration. This two-day course educates participants about stream habitat, promotes a stewardship ethic and informs participants about stream protection and restoration options.
The course is held on local creeks in our area. Mornings are spent in a classroom situation (for example: a community hall or harbour meeting room) and afternoons are spent out on the creek. People who complete the course receive certification from the Pacific Streamkeepers Federation. If you are interested in participating in the next course, please contact us or browse our upcoming events for offerings.
The course is sponsored by MVIHES and local Streamkeeper groups.
